Six students from city, county and private high schools in Memphis were chosen Sunday to compete against natioal and international groups in this year's Model United Nations Student Conference on Human Rights, a showcase meant to help U.S. students learn about global issues and think of them in local terms.

Glover and his business partner, Kaliv’ Parker, were this season's winners of the mtvU series, Movers & Changers, a national business pitch competition sponsored by mtvU and the New York Stock Exchange.

As featured in the July 28, 2009 edition of The Commerical Appeal, the 2009 Memphis Youth Leadership Program helped teens see a brighter future. The Healthy Teen Challenge encouraged 165 students to focus on the importance of exercise and nutrition.
