WorkshopsStudents are enrolled in professional development workshops, focusing on topics such as resume writing, interview skills, business etiquette, time management, career assessment and networking.
College Preparation
Students and their parents receive information needed for choosing a college, including financial aid information, college essay writing workshops and test strategy tips for college preparatory exams.
Internship Program
The internship program consists of a coalition of area businesses committed to providing meaningful summer employment to Memphis Challenge students. The purpose of the internship program is to provide a challenging and rewarding internship experience to students preparing them to become future Memphis leaders.
The goals are to:
- Expose students to business environments through meaningful summer internships
- Mentor and coach future leaders
- Assist companies in identifying potential talent
Based on their summer plans, students are considered for internships in their field of study. However, no student is guaranteed an internship.
